Well it looks to me that the TV and entertainment industries have something else to look over their collective shoulders and scream in horror. Joost is that good and a delight to use. What is joost for the non nerds it is a Internet based TV style veiwer. Put simply to allow you to watch a vartiy of TV channels for free. It comes from the same tam that orignally produced Skype and Kazza (so you can feel confident that they know what they are doing). The current beta is awesome with 25 channels of content including National Geographic and World's Strongest Man, but it does contain a few bugs (it is a beta after all) it is missing features like "on-top while playing. So dust off your second monitor and apply for the beta program today and Nerd things up a bit.

 Welcome to my digital soapbox. It seems that only one opinion can figure out how to use this wonderful content manager system we use to drive this site. The CMS is called Joomla and lovely open source project written by nerd (and main for nerds it seems to me).
What a topic to start off the my first ever blog post. Today I was astounded when the "Luddite" himself was asking me should he buy a computer with that has a CPU with a large or small internal cache. What the hell is the world coming to if my Dad is pondering such a question... I just like to finish off this post off by saying to everyone welcome to the information age and RTFM..... ;) |
